Each year Halloween is celebrated across the world, by people of all ages and backgrounds, but the place that does it the best is the U.S.A.
If you’re lucky enough to be traveling around the spooky the holiday then a visit to the States is a must! The country just loves Halloween, and really goes all out for the holiday. Celebrations usually consist of parties, an array of food and drink, trick-or-treating, an Uncle dressed up as Goofy cousin eddie from national lampoons vacation, parades and most importantly a creative costume!(Image by mulberryave)
Over the past couple of years, people have been getting more and more creative with their costume designs. Want to dress up as a blue monster? There’s a costume for it! Want to dress up as Batman? Again, you’ll be able to find a costume. There are so many amazing costumes available nowadays. Everyone wants to top the year before and win the best-dressed competition, over their friends. Because of this, the demand for costume companies to come up with new and innovative designs is now bigger than ever!
One Costume company, Morph Costumes, have realized the need for costumes to be bigger and better, and recently opened up a competition – aptly named ‘MorphFamous’ -where anyone can enter an amazing costume design and get in with the chance of winning the $10,000 prize, plus a cut of the profits if their costumes is put into production – what’s not to love!?

If you fancy a go at entering your own unique design, you can submit entries throughout October onto the MorphCostumes website, where they will be voted on by the public. A shortlist of the 10 designs that receive the most votes will be announced just before Halloween a panel of judges will choose the winner on the 27th of October, just in time for the spookyevent.(Image by Abt Electronics )
MorphCostumeswere inspired to create the competition after years of costume fans sharing their design concepts on the company’s Facebook page, which is home to over 1.4 million fancy dress fanatics. Last year, a passionate Morphsuits fan called Kyle created a design using a white Morphsuit and posted it on the Facebook page – one year later, MorphCostumes worked with him to create the design and it’s now available to purchase worldwide.
