Florida’s Golf School Destination

If you like golfing in a tropical climate, Bird Golf’s famous golf schools in Florida may be just the ticket. The Bird Golf Academy Florida is home to some of the nation’s most beautiful and respected golfing destinations, all part of Bird Golf’s sterling brand of locations. With five locations in Florida, there’s a lot to choose between. You’ll be able to learn about the game of golf amongst beaches, bays, wild native grasses, and many other landscapes in and around Orlando, Daytona Beach, Boca Pointe, Miami Lakes, and South Florida.

Each location has a variety of affordable schooling packages, each designed by golf legends and industry experts. Bird Golf is a great place for beginners and advanced players alive, with customized coaching to help you take your game to the next level. You can choose to work with a personal Bird Golf instructor for 3 to 5 days. The hardest decision of all may be which school location to choose. Here’s some information to help you decide.

Miami Lakes is home to Bird Golf’s newest Florida location, all nestled in the impressive Shula’s Hotel and Best Golf Club. The Senator Golf Club is known around Miami, and is fun for fans of both novel and classical course styles. There are two hotel options on site: The Hotel Indigo and Shula’s just a bit down the road from the golf course.

If you want to learn about golf in South Florida, the Club at Boca Pointe is the place to be. This is a private country club with 18 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus (you might have heard of him). After your game or lesson, you can relax and live the good life at Waldorf Astoria Boca Resort. It’s as nice as it sounds.

You could also shave a few strokes off your game at the Old Corkscrew Golf Club. Nicklaus is also the mastermind behind this location, and industry analysts and players agree that it’s one of his best. This location is not short on impressive topiary, with huge oak, pine, and cypress trees lining the fairways.

You can also have your ultimate golf experience just a little north of Orlando. The Mission Inn Resort and Spa plays host to this branch of Bird Golf Academy, with 36 holes that attract golfers from all around Florida and beyond. Anyone who knows Orlando knows that golfing isn’t the only thing to do there, but getting a chance to play on this course is excuse enough to make a trip to this famous Florida city.
